The other day I was having a conversation with a friend of mine. We were talking about all of the frustration encountered by new Internet marketers. If you haven't already realized, the Internet marketing business is dominated by people who are frustrated and broke. Why is this the case? In the overwhelming number of cases is because people do not have goals and they do not have a daily schedule. Without goals and without a daily schedule far too many people end up on Internet marketing message forums. They wasted their day chatting with other people who are broke and frustrated. Now don't get me wrong, you can learn a lot from some Internet marketing forums. The secret is to use these forums as research tools and has venues through which to network with other successful people.
Why do so many people spend their time on forums? Because they're bored.
They don't have a schedule, they don't have a goal, and so they go to a forum to talk to other people who are similarly situated. So here's what I want you to do next. Grab a piece of paper and a pencil. Take as long as it takes to come up with a simple goal of what you're trying to achieve with Internet marketing. This is not have to be some elaborate statement. Just write down a couple of sentences. This will put you ahead of 80% of the other people out there. It will also help you avoid a lot of frustration. Next, create a day-to-day action plan that is designed to bring you closer to your goal every single day.
